R.M. Andrews Memorial Archives – located at 104 Lodge Hall Road in Kresgeville.  The archives contain the artifacts and history of Polk Township and surrounding areas. You can find information about people, places, and artifacts from the area. There are also antiques to look at and admire at the R.M. Andrews Memorial Archives. See how the times have changed within the years of Polk Township. 


Open This Fall!


4.25 acre Community Walking Park – part of the open space property of Polk Township. The park will be located next to the township building and facilities. The park is being designed to be a park walking path. We are looking for funding for this future sight for fencing and signage.  Additional improvements are scheduled for 2018!

Volunteers Needed and Welcomed!


Polk Township Nature Park -  Open April to November (weather permitting) during daylight hours. Located on Scenic Dr. (formerly Route 534). The Polk Township Nature Park is the home to many animals and wildlife. The Nature Park consists of 18 acres and it is an area that can be enjoyed by many. Take some time to check out the walking trails at the park and enjoy the flowers, streams and animals along the way. While at the park take some time to enjoy the picnic area and dock areas which are both handicapped accessible. 


Jonas Mountain Nature Preserve -  203 acres of pristine headwaters and scenic views, the Jonas Mountain Nature Preserve was purchased with Pocono Heritage Land Trust funding and is open year round for hiking. The paths are marked; fishing is catch and release; hunting is non-rifle. Parking is located off Rainbow Terrace – follow Rainbow Terrace all the way to the end.
